Berastagi-Taman Simalem Tour (Tour Price ONLY IDR 750.000/pax)
Berastagi is a town and district of Karo Regency situated on crossroads on the main route linking the Karo highlands of Northern Sumatra to the coastal city of Medan. The dominant ethnic and linguisitic group is Karo Batak. Due to the close distance from Medan, Berastagi has been treated as a nearby hill station for relaxing place from a busy city activity. Berastagi is famous for its passion fruit and flower. The main attractions of the town are the two active volcanoes; Mount Sibayak, with its hot springs, and Mount Sinabung. The town is also a stop on the way to Lake Toba. We can view the amazing landmarks of Lake Toba from Taman Simalem. Lake Toba is one of the biggest Lake in the world. At 1,200 metres above sea level, the cool, crisp air immediately sets you at ease and the stunning view of Lake Toba will take your breath away.
Itinerary:
06.30-07.00 : Meet at hotel
07.00-09.30 : Transfer to Berastagi
09.30-10.30 : Stop at Fruits Central Market and Bukit Gundaling to see the beautiful view of two mountains from distant (shopping some fruits, vegetables and souvenirs; riding a horse or sado).
10.30-12.00 : Transfer to Taman Simalem Resort
12.00-13.00 : Lunch at Taman Simalem Restaurant
